F.A.Q.
Can you teach me to code?
No. But you are free to steal any code from my site! Use the 'inspect' option after right clicking to look at HTML.
Are you open for commissions?
Yes, but because I work a full time job and freelance in addition to commissions, please be aware that it can take me a very long time to do commissions. I try not to take payment until I am certain I can start on the piece. If you need a specific deadline, please let me know in advance!
Are you available for [project/collaboration/gig]?
Please email me at snowontheradio@gmail.com or contact me via socials with your project concept and timeline and I'll let you know! Currently I am interested in zines, fan projects, comic work, and small press that are either paid or for charity.
What's the source for [?]
I try to source everything I have information on. If an asset isn't sourced (and I didn't make it personally), it was probably taken from 1. a graphic preservation collection or 2. a similar 'free to use' collection that specified none of the assets were made by the curator. Sometimes I recognize graphics in free use collections that I recall not being free use when I stumbled across them posted by their original creators. If this is the case, and you spot something that is not publically available being used on my site, please let me know and I will remove the item.
How old are you/what are your pronouns/other info not provided in bio?
;)
ok but as a less jokey answer: I'm old enough to remember dial up and my gender/pronouns are brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr because I'm tired of seeing people decide whether or not art is offensive based on the identity of the creator. Just google Isabel Fall and the Attack Helicopter Story debacle, where a transgender woman was forcibly outed after her exploratory short story on gender (which interrogates the classic transphobic joke by treating it sincerely) gained fame. Feels like a microcosm of the weird vibes a lot of queer creators experience online. if i do shit that sucks it should suck regardless of my identity yknow, and if stuff is good then it should be good from a place of sincerity and mutual good faith between creator and audience.
Anyway. its not like this information is under lock and key, i just prefer it not to be instantly available as a pass/fail metric.
